Celebrating and Creating Manufacturing Jobs, and Creating Content for Industrial Marketing

Jim Vinoski is a manufacturing guy. He spent his first career in intense engineering roles on the floor of manufacturers across industries.

But he had an itch.

He liked to create. So he started writing, often at night. He had an unofficial blog during his time with one employer. He was also, contrary to many stereotypes of industrial manufacturing engineers, an active user of LinkedIn. And those two collided when he ended up with a contract as a frequent contributor to Forbes, writing about manufacturing.

That turned into a podcast, and then into a side business (Cosgrove Content), which has now turned into Jim's full-time business offering industrial content marketing writing and consulting.

Our conversation covers manufacturing in general, policy, job creation, industrial marketing, leadership, content creation, Boy Scouts, bicycling, and more.

Connect with Jim to keep up with his manufacturing content creation.

Manufacturing Marketing Should Be As Dialed in As Production!

We're all accustomed to thinking of the production line as a system to be optimized with process engineering, fixtures, suggestions from the line, etc., and then to be continuously improved.

Few think of revenue growth as an analogous system.

Why?

Let's bring the same mindset to revenue growth.
